Gallbladder Masses: Multimodality Approach to Differential Diagnosis

Gallbladder masses are commonly encountered on diagnostic imaging examinations. Distinguishing between benign and malignant conditions is critical, in terms of clinical significance, management, and followup. It is important to be familiar with the differential diagnoses of gallbladder masses, recognize imaging features that are diagnostic for each condition, and understand the utility and limitations of each of the cross-sectional imaging modalities currently available.
